Fitness Referee
Every CrossComp event at your school serves as a fundraiser for improving your educational experience.
To volunteer as a CrossComp Fitness Referee, you must be a Student at the hosting School.
As a Fitness Referee for the CrossComp Events at your School, you:
- CrossComps are more fun and more profitable than a Car Wash, Bake Sale, or Jog-a-thon.
- Referees get real-life experience providing a needed and valued service for their community.
- You'll earn Volunteer Community Service Credits towards your graduation.
- You can also include your experience on your College and Job Applications.
- You may even discover that you want to become a certified Medical-Fitness Technician!
To volunteer as a CrossComp Fitness Referee, you must be a Student at the hosting School.
- High School, College, or University.
As a Fitness Referee for the CrossComp Events at your School, you:
- Sign-up for the Events you want to serve as a Referee.
- Show-up on time on the day of the Event.
- Participate in a quick and easy Referee Training session (20 minutes).
- Use the App to Referee the CrossComp Participants one at a time (15 minutes each).
- Encourage your friends at your school to Volunteer as a Fitness Referee, as well.
- Encourage your classmates to get their parents, relatives, friends, and neighbors to participate.
- Your School earns 80% of each Entry Fee.
Sign-Up
The Referee selects from the schools that are listed in the drop-down menu, which would include all the schools in the Referee's City that have a Volunteer CrossComp Event Coordinator.
When the Coordinator of the Referee's School creates/schedules a CC Event, the "School Event" link on the Referee's Menu screen links to the School Event Sign-Up/Check-In/Out screen.
A student Volunteer can sign-up to Referee at only 1 school at a time.

- The Coordinator needs to be able to remove (Delete) Referees from his List of Referees.
