CrossComp-Volunteer Agreement
CrossComps is a community-based program of the OptiHealth Network. It is designed to engage the general public in personalized fitness programs as part of a broader mission in creating a culture of optimal health.
As such, CrossComps can be utilized by local Organizations, such as schools or churches, not only to promote health among their constituents throughout the lifespan, but also as an effective on-going fundraiser.
The structure outlined below has been established to help ensure the quality and safety of CrossComp services provided by local Organzations and their Volunteers, while still allowing as much flexibility as possible.
- OptiHealth CrossComps provides the free App for all CrossComp service providers and program participants.
- A member of the Organization must be a CrossComp Event Coordinator in order to Register a local Event.
- The Event Coordinator may Register as many local Events as desired.
- The Organization may recruit as many CrossComp Volunteers as desired.
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
- Each Volunteer must be a current Participant in the CrossComp program.
- A CrossComp Volunteer may sign-up and serve as a Judge at any CrossComp Event.
- Volunteer CrossComp Judges are required to be attentive, courteous, and accurate when judging a Participant's performance.
- Equal services must be provided to both initial (free) Participants and follow-up (pay) Participants, alike.
- The Event Coordinator at any local Event is authorized to terminate Volunteer Judges "on the spot" for any misconduct.
- All profits (80% of the CrossComp Testing Fee of $10 = $8.00 profit per paid CrossComp) is retained by the Organization.
- Funds raised by the Organization are to be used for the purpose or benefit as advertised when promoting the Event(s).
- Volunteers who are high school or college students may earn community-service points for their graduation requirements.
- Qualified Volunteers are eligible to affiliate with CrossComps as Fitness Professionals.
- Volunteers who are interested in pursuing a career in health care can earn up to a 50% discount on Certificate Courses available through the OptiHealth Institute.
